Enjoy a day of golf, competition, cash, prizes and great food at the annual Links Technology Cup golf outing benefiting the Schaumburg Park Foundation. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 9th at Schaumburg Golf Course, located at 401 North Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
Originally built in 1928, Schaumburg Golf Course was purchased by the Schaumburg Park District in 1989 and renovated by leading golf architect Bob Lohmann. The 27-hole facility has hosted U.S Open Qualifying, Illinois State Amateur Qualifying, Illinois Open Qualifying, Chicago District Golf Association Mid-Am Championship, IPGA Pro-Junior Championship, Links Technology Cup, The Daily Herald Shootout and King of the Hill Twosome Championship.
Entry in the Links Technology Cup includes a practice range warm-up, shotgun start/scramble format, 18-holes of golf with cart, contests and prizes, and dinner provided by Chandler’s Chophouse. Every other hole on the course will feature food and/or beverages from area restaurants through “Taste on the Tee.”
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
Shotgun start at 10 a.m.
The top foursome will be commemorated on the Links Cup.
