Recent renovations include a pool house and pool, updated clubhouse, new and larger men’s and women’s locker rooms, and a large fitness center. In 2015, Edgewood Valley Country Club built a new tennis and
paddle court facility.

A golf course renovation project by architect Craig Schreiner was completed in 2006 lengthened the course and raised the total number of bunkers to 104. The course plays longer than its yardage due to the well-bunkered and narrow fairways that wind through the tall oak trees on the property. In 2009 the Club added an expansive practice area, offering members the ability to practice every golf shot.

In 2023, Edgewood Valley Country Club will undergo a significant renovation that will transform the footprint of the Clubhouse and surrounding facilities to enhance the member experience throughout all of the Club’s amenities.

Edgewood Valley Country Club Renovation

To ensure the sustainability of the Club for years to come while providing our members with the highest-quality facilities and unmatched service, these updates include: a pristine, modernized Clubhouse; extended patio seating and firepits; shaded pool lounging; a poolside cabana bar; an indoor/outdoor first floor bar; and second floor terraces adjacent to the Ballroom.

Mike Pariso was named the head golf professional January 1, 2023. This allows a clear shot to a green that is protected by a large tree short left of the green and several bunkers. The third green is the flattest on the course, but putts from the back of this green can be tricky.

The second memorable dogleg is the par 4, 309-yard 12th hole is a dogleg that shapes from left to right. A long iron or fairway wood is the shot of choice off the tee. The fairway is protected by bunkers on the left and overhanging trees on the right. The green is protected by bunkers on either side of the green.

[1680
2104
1692,1762
post-19769","listing","type-listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","listing-category-private","list-tags-illinois","location-illinois","location-la-grange
["GET
