SentryWorld opened in 1982 and was designed by golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr.<\/p>\n<p>SentryWorld has a field house with six indoor tennis courts, some of them are striped for multipurpose functions like volleyball \u2013 leagues and games. They also offer the Inn at SentryWorld, a luxury boutique hotel as well as a restaurant called PJ&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, the golf course was shut down for a couple years and a sub-air system was added to all of the greens to help control the moisture level of the green and keep them consistent.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, SentryWorld also installed drip irrigation around all their bunkers. Drip irrigation is basically a system that goes around the edges of the bunkers.
