DESCRIPTION:The 2023 BMW Championship\, part of the FedEx Cup\, will be played at Olympia Fields Country Club (North Course)\, from August 17-20. The event is conducted by the Western Golf Association. \nThe precursor to The BMW Championship\, was the Western Open\, which was a fixture on the PGA Tour for decades. The Tour’s top players will be participating in the 2023 BMW Championship\, looking to earn a spot in the season-ending TOUR Championship.  \nThe 2020 BMW Championship took place on Olympia Fields North course\, which also hosted the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2017.

DESCRIPTION:The top PGA TOUR Canada members from the Forme Tour will visit Bolingbrook Country Club July 20-23\, 2021 for the Bolingbrook Golf Club Invitational. The PGA TOUR created the Forme Tour for current PGA TOUR Canada members as a result of restrictions and other COVID-19-related issues at the U.S.-Canadian border.  \nFor 2021\, PGA TOUR Canada members will be given access to the Forme Tour\, allowing them the ability to compete in a series of U.S.-based events between June and September. The top-five finishers in points will earn 2021-22 Korn Ferry Tour membership along with others advancing to the second and final stages of the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament. \nThe Forme Tour’s 72-hole\, medal-play events will be conducted identically to other PGA TOUR-affiliated Tour tournaments. The Forme Tour will adopt its eligibility from PGA TOUR Canada and will feature the top-60 points earners from the 2019 PGA TOUR Canada season.

SUMMARY:Evans Scholars Invitational
DESCRIPTION:The Evans Scholars Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour\, managed by the Western Golf Association\, will be contested the week of May 27-30\, 2021 at The Glen Club in Glenview\, IL. The event will run through 2022. All proceeds will benefit the event’s sole charity\, the Evans Scholars Foundation. \nThe tournament returns to The Glen Club after the event was held in 2020 at Chicago Highlands. The Korn Ferry Tour\, which contested the Bank of America Open at the Glen Club from 2002 through 2008\, produced an impressive list of champions\, including 2013 PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner (2006) and 2015 Senior Open Championship winner Marco Dawson (2002). \nCurtis Thompson won the 2020 Evans Scholars Invitational by one stroke over Jimmy Stanger and Will Zalatoris. The 2020 tournament marked the first time the event was be held at Chicago Highlands Club for the Korn Ferry Tour.  \nScottie Scheffler defeated Marcelo Rozo of Colombia to win the 2019 Evans Scholars Invitational at The Glen Club. Scheffler fired a bogey-free\, 9-under 63 — playing the back nine in 30 — to force a playoff with Rozo. He then birdied the second extra hole for his first Korn Ferry Tour victory.

SUMMARY:Constellation Senior Players Championship
DESCRIPTION:The best players on the Champions Tour return to Chicagoland as the Constellation Senior Players Championship visits Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park July 12-15\, 2018. The Constellation Senior Players Championship is one of the five major championships on the Champions Tour and the winner gains entry into the following season’s Players Championship on the PGA Tour. \nThis will be the first time the PGA Tour Champions has held a major in the Chicagoland area since 1997. And it follows the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship which will be held in May about 90 minutes from Chicago in Benton Harbor\, Michigan. \nThe Western Golf Association is the host organization for the Constellation Senior Players Championship at Exmoor. The WGA has hosted the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship\, formerly the Western Open\, along with numerous amateur events each year. \nProceeds from The Constellation Senior Players Championship go to the Evans Scholars Foundation\, which is managed by the Western Golf Assoication and provides caddies with full housing and tuition scholarships to college. The BMW Championship generates roughly $3 million a year for scholarships. \nThe 2017 Constellation Senior Players Championship was played at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills\, Maryland. Scott McCarron shot 18 under par to win the event and the $420\,000 first place check. \nExmoor Country Club was founded 1896 and was one of 11 charter clubs that established the Western Golf Association in 1899. The course was initially designed by H.J. Tweedie\, but was redesigned in 1914 by famed architect Donald Ross. Ross utilized his trademark green contours and strategic bunkering to bring the course up to early 20th century standards.

Lehman\, the 1996 British Open winner\, opened with rounds of 65 and 66 to take a three-stroke lead into the final round.  \nAfter posting pars on the first 11 holes\, Lehman birdied No. 12. “It wasn’t my very best performance today\, but it was good enough\,” Lehman said. \nTickets for the 2015 Encompass Championship are still available. The tournament offers daily admissions with Good Any Day Tickets\, a discounted book of tickets\, weeklong passes and a limited number of Champions Club tickets that include access to a shared\, air-conditioned hospitality area and include food and beverage. Children under 18 are free\, no advance ticket is required for children. Children’s tickets will be available at the entrance regardless of a sell out. Major champions and fan favorites such as Jeff Sluman\, Chip Beck\, Fred Couples\, John Cook\, Fred Funk\, Jay Haas\, Tom Lehman\, Corey Pavin\, Kenny Perry\, Rocco Mediate and Steve Elkington are also expected to return. \nThe 2013 Encompass Championship presented by Career Builder delivered high drama and entertainment with Craig Stadler holding off late runs by Fred Couples and Jeff Sluman to win the tournament.
