SUMMARY:2015 CDGA Mid-Amateur Championship
DESCRIPTION:The Chicago District Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship will take place May 18-20\, 2015 at Bowes Creek Country Club in Elgin\, IL. Registration for the 2015 Chicago District Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship opens on 1/19/2015 with qualifiers taking place April 23 at Coyote Creek Golf Club\, April 27 at Village Greens Of Woodridge and April 30 at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates. \nFormat: 	18 holes of stroke play qualifying followed by match play. The low 16 players from stroke play qualifying will advance to the match play. All matches are 18 holes.\nEligibility: 	Any amateur who is a member at a CDGA member club who has reached his 25th birthday on or before the day of the Championship and has a current CDGA handicap index of 5.4 or under. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry\, and extend special invitations.\n 	Age Limit: min: 25        Index Limit: max: 5.4\n 	All players who wish to play in the CDGA Mid-Amateur Championship at Bowes Creek CC on May 18-20 and are not on the exemption list need to qualify at one of the following sites: Coyote Creek\, Village Greens of Woodridge\, or Bridges of Poplar Creek.\n 	Show Qualifying Exemptions Listing\nField: 	The Championship Field will include exempt players and players who qualify from one of the qualifying sites.\nStarting Times: 	Tee-times will be e-mailed and posted on the CDGA website 10-14 days prior to the event.\nPrizes: 	Gift certificates will be given to the quarterfinalists – with a $750 gift certificate given to the champion.\nTies: 	In the event the Championship match ends in a tie\, play will proceed on a sudden victory basis. A sudden victory format will be used to break all ties for the final qualifying places of match play.\nRestrictions: 	*Non-metal spike policy is in effect.\nAddt’l Info: 	Players may use Distance Measuring Devices in ALL CDGA Qualifiers and Championships. These devices must measure and gauge distance only.
