SUMMARY:NV5 Invitational
DESCRIPTION:The NV5 Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour\, formerly known as the Evans Scholars Invitational\, is managed by the Western Golf Association. The event will be contested the week of July 23-26\, 2026 at The Glen Club in Glenview\, IL. All proceeds will benefit the event’s sole charity\, the Evans Scholars Foundation. \nThe NV5 Invitational was first played in May 2019 at The Glen Club in Glenview. As part of COVID-19-related schedule changes for the following Korn- Ferry Tour season\, the tournament was postponed until September 2020\, and the location was changed to Chicago Highlands Club. In 2021 the tournament returned to The Glen Club site. \nHarry Hall (2022)\, Cameron Young (2021)\, Curtis Thompson (2020)\, and Scottie Scheffler (2019) are the three most recent champions of the developmental tour’s Chicago event. The Korn Ferry Tour\, which contested the Bank of America Open at the Glen Club from 2002 through 2008\, produced an impressive list of champions\, including 2013 PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner (2006) and 2015 Senior Open Championship winner Marco Dawson (2002). \nCurtis Thompson won the 2020 Evans Scholars Invitational by one stroke over Jimmy Stanger and Will Zalatoris. The 2020 tournament marked the first time the event was be held at Chicago Highlands Club for the Korn Ferry Tour. \nScottie Scheffler defeated Marcelo Rozo of Colombia to win the 2019 Evans Scholars Invitational at The Glen Club. Scheffler fired a bogey-free\, 9-under 63 — playing the back nine in 30 — to force a playoff with Rozo. He then birdied the second extra hole for his first Korn Ferry Tour victory.
