SUMMARY:Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund Golf Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund Golf Classic is one of the largest charity golf events in the State of Illinois. More than 400 golfers hit the links at five North Shore golf courses. 10 a.m.\, Conway Farms\, Knollwood\, Onwentsia\, Shoreacres\, Skokie\, and Exmoor.  \nThe mission of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund is to give high school scholarship assistance and educational support to Chicago students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.  The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund seeks to make a life-altering difference in the lives of its Scholars by providing them with the best opportunity to succeed in high school and college. \n \nIn 2018\, supporters helped raise $1\,700\,000 at this event. Hundreds of Murphy Scholars will count on that support as they journey to and through college-preparatory high schools in the coming years.
