SUMMARY:2015 Radix Cup Golf Matches
DESCRIPTION:The 2015 Radix Cup Golf Matches will take place on June 3 at Oak Park Country Club. This invitation-only event features six two-player teams of amateurs compete at match play against six two-player teams of professionals\, each match on a three-point Nassau basis. \nTeams comprised of the Illinois PGA’s top 11 professionals and the host golf professional playing as two-man teams against the top 11 amateurs and the current host club champion. The better ball of each two-man team will count and the low ball of the foursome will win the hole. The pair which wins the most holes on each nine will win one point and the pair which wins the most holes for the eighteen will win one point. If a point is tied each team wins one-half point. With a total of 18 points contested for\, the team that accumulates more than 9 points wins the Radix Cup. \nEligibility: 	Each team is selected by point systems. The amateurs are selected by the CDGA using the previous year Player of the Year Points. The Illinois Section\, PGA\, selects the professionals. The Oak Park CC Club Champion does receive a spot on the Amateur Team. \nField: 	The field is 24 players.\nAddt’l Info: 	Invitations will be sent to players in the Spring of 2014.
