Edgebrook Golf Course is a public, par 66 18-hole facility that meanders through the heart of Chicago’s Northern Forest Preserve District.

Originally a private club, Edgebrook was the first golf course acquired by the Cook County Forest Preserve Commission in 1919.

The Edgebrook neighborhood borders Sauganash to the west and Forest Glen to the south. Edgebrook is home to Edgebrook Golf Course and the 9-hole Billy Caldwell Golf Course, both operated by the Cook County Forest Preserves.

Edgebrook Golf Course is certified as Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International and is committed to protecting the local environment, conserving natural resources, and providing wildlife habitats.
