Edgewood Valley Country Club is a private club located in La Grange, Illinois that includes an 18-hole golf course featuring a 17-acre practice facility.

The Club moved to its present 177-acre location in 1926. Recent renovations include a pool house and pool, updated clubhouse, new and larger men’s and women’s locker rooms, and a large fitness center. In 2015, Edgewood Valley Country Club built a new tennis and
paddle court facility.

A golf course renovation project by architect Craig Schreiner was completed in 2006 lengthened the course and raised the total number of bunkers to 104. The course plays longer than its yardage due to the well-bunkered and narrow fairways that wind through the tall oak trees on the property. In 2009 the Club added an expansive practice area, offering members the ability to practice every golf shot.

In 2023, Edgewood Valley Country Club will undergo a significant renovation that will transform the footprint of the Clubhouse and surrounding facilities to enhance the member experience throughout all of the Club’s amenities.

Mike Pariso was named the head golf professional January 1, 2023. Mike was an assistant at Edgewood Valley for nine years prior to his promotion as co-head professional in September 2022.

Edgewood Valley Country Club features two unique doglegs – one on the front and one on the back nine – that intersect near 79th Street.

The par 4, 367-yard third hole at Edgewood Valley Country Club is a memorable 90-degree dogleg to the left that requires an accurate tee shot that must be hit far enough to get past the corner of the dogleg. This allows a clear shot to a green that is protected by a large tree short left of the green and several bunkers. The third green is the flattest on the course, but putts from the back of this green can be tricky.

The second memorable dogleg is the par 4, 309-yard 12th hole is a dogleg that shapes from left to right. A long iron or fairway wood is the shot of choice off the tee. The fairway is protected by bunkers on the left and overhanging trees on the right. The green is protected by bunkers on either side of the green.
