The course hosted The Evans Scholars Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020. The event was managed by the Western Golf Association, with all proceeds benefiting the Evans Scholars Foundation.
The tournament marked the first time the event was be held at Chicago Highlands for the Korn Ferry Tour. Curtis Thompson won the 2020 Evans Scholars Invitational by one stroke over Jimmy Stanger and Will Zalatoris.
Scottie Scheffler defeated Marcelo Rozo of Colombia to win the 2019 Evans Scholars Invitational at The Glen Club in Glenview.
The Chicago Highlands Club golf course was designed by world-renowned architect, Arthur Hills, and features elevation changes of over 80 feet and dramatic views of the Chicago skyline. The total yardage ranges from 4,000 yards to almost 7,500 yards so it can accommodate kids and tour professionals alike. There are seven sets of tees and 11 different yardage choices.
