Whitetail Ridge Golf Club

Whitetail Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf facility located in Yorkville, Illinois. Designed by Greg Martin, Whitetail Ridge Golf Club offers a beautiful par-71, 6,730-yard layout that blends seamlessly with its pristine natural surroundings in the rolling hills of Yorkville.

The 398-yard par four 8th hole was named one of the Fantastic Par Fours in all of Chicago Golf by Chicago Golf Report. You’ll need to cross water twice on the 8th hole to avoid danger near the green. With water all along the right side of the fairway, the ideal tee shot is to the right of the fairway bunker. However, club selection off the tee is critical because water guards the landing area ends at about 290 yards off the tee. A great tee shot is only the first hurdle. A large bunker sits right in front of the green, requiring a high and soft approach shot if you’re looking to attack the pin. A sensible play to avoid the bunker entirely is to play to the right.

The exterior patio area at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club just outside the garage doors in The Persimmon Room holds two indoor golf simulators in the cold weather months. The space is enclosed and heated with couches, TVs, and direct access to The Persimmon Room bar area.

One of their simulators features Trackman technology, the world class technology that is loaded with features and has accuracy second to none. They also have Full Swing and Garmin Launch monitors for more practice and gaming features.

Simulators are available for reservations by the hour daily.
