The Illinois PGA Pro-Pro-Pro Scramble is a three-person team golf event where professionals choose their partners in this scramble format event.
FORMAT:
18 HOLES of 3-Person team scramble. There will be one (1) mid-morning shotgun start, and teams will be competing for one (1) purse. In the case of a tie for the Championship, the winners shall be declared Co-Champions.
The Championship will be contested as a three player scramble format. A side will start the play of each hole and then select one shot from the side and should mark the location with a tee or ball-marker.
While the ball lies through the green, each partner of the side plays their next stroke from the chosen location by placing a ball within one club-length of the marked location, no nearer to the hole.
While the ball lies on the putting green, a ball must be placed within six inches of the marked location, no nearer to the hole. This procedure is followed on every shot until the ball is holed.
Note 1: A side may not change surfaces while the ball lies through the green (i.e. from rough to fairway cut).
Note 2: If the selected location is through the green, the side may not use the one club length allowance to place a ball on the putting green
Note 3: A side may not move from outside a hazard with their one club length allowance.
