2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships

The 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships will take place at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove May 26-31.

The teams that win their respective Division I conference championships are given automatic spots in the regionals. The top teams in each regional tournament advance to the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship at Rich Harvest Farms. In addition, the best player in each tournament from teams not qualified also advance to the next round as individual competitors.

The NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships is a stroke play team competition. The competition changed to a stroke play/match play competition in 2009 with the top 8 teams after 54 holes of stroke play being seeded and concluding with an 8-team match play playoff. There is also an award for the lowest scoring individual competitor.
