4th Annual Dick Katzmann Charity Golf Outing

Play golf for a great cause on Saturday, June 18th at Water’s Edge Golf Club in Worth at the 4th Annual Dick Katzmann Charity Golf Outing. This year’s event will benefit COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) in honor of Jase Snevely, who is a two-year-old who has been diagnosed with stage four high risk Neuroblastoma, a very rare childhood cancer which has metastasized to his bones and his skull.

To date Jase has spent 106 days in the hospital, endured six rounds of chemotherapy and 17 blood transfusions. He was in a coma for three weeks on a ventilator, his lungs have collapsed three times, overcome numerous infections, nine surgeries — including removing a massive tumor from his abdomen, and he has had to be treated with methadone for withdrawals from his sedation medication.

Jase now needs two life-saving stem cell transplants in order to rid the cancer from his arms, legs and skull. Each transplant has a cost of over $50,000.

Dick Katzmann was very involved in helping out charity causes. To honor his memory, an annual golf outing was established to continue his legacy of helping others.
