About Me

A trip to the driving range with his mom at age 14 led Scott to his first job as cart boy at Wolf Creek Golf Club in Pontiac, IL. After a few years of carts he was moved to the grounds department and spent two years with a Weedeater strapped to his shoulders, progressing into mowing duties and eventually more responsibility like syringing greens in the afternoon. After a year of Junior College he realized he loved being on the golf course and around golfers and decided to transfer to SIUC to study turf management. That lead to an internship at the Merit Club in Libertyville, Assistant Superintendent at Medinah CC, Bayonne Golf Club, and the Merit Club and now Head Superintendent at Kenosha Country Club.
