Free Admission to Evans Scholars Invitational at The Glen Club

Avid golf fans enjoy watching tournaments on television and in person; frugal folks enjoy hearing the words ‘cheap’, ‘free’, and ‘help yourself’. And attaining a combination of both of these enjoyments is nearly world-stopping. But the truth is when spectators register in advance at esinvitational.com to claim their free tickets, complimentary grounds admission is available all four days of the Evans Scholars Invitational championship at no charge.

Yes, The Glen Club is proud to host the Evans Scholars Invitational, presented in partnership with BCU, Your Community Credit Union, as the path to the PGA TOUR comes through Glenview on July 23-26. This Korn Ferry Tour event features golf’s future stars competing for a spot on the PGA TOUR.

And as if the cash prize purse and the chance to battle for next season’s important PGA TOUR cards weren’t enough, The Korn Ferry Tour together with Compliance Solutions have added a $100,000 bonus prize pool named ‘The Route 66 Cup presented by Compliance Solutions’. The Evans Scholars Invitational is the third of four special Korn Ferry Tour events contested this year in cities along historic U.S. Route 66.

Adding to the experience of a top-notch professional tournament contested at the spectacular grounds of The Glen Club, for further spectator enjoyment, concessions will be placed throughout the course, including Chick-fil-A located between holes 8 & 13. Kids’ activities will be available on the back patio of the clubhouse, and free Kona Ice and face painting will be available on Thursday during Family Fun Day. On Saturday morning, fans can kick off their day with a complimentary ‘Yoga on the Course’ class overlooking the 18th hole before watching a full day of championship golf.

All proceeds will benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation which provides full tuition and housing scholarships for deserving caddies.
