Hands down, Claude Harmon III is one of the best golf instructors who ever lived.
His list of students over the years is beyond impressive: Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Darren Clarke and Trevor Immelman. In all, he helped winners of nine majors and 66 professional titles hone their skills.
While based at The Floridian in South Florida, there’s obviously worldwide demand for Harmon III to teach elite players and others with burning desires to significantly improve their games.
That could be why the son of Butch Harmon and grandson of Claude Harmon, both dominant instructors of their generations, has formed a partnership with Magellan Jets, the leading private aviation company.

Back to Magellan Jets: The addition of Harmon III follows the company’s recent selection as the “Official Private Aviation Provider” of 4Aces Golf Club, captained by two-time major champion Dustin Johnson, on the LIV Golf League. Many professional golfers on major Tours worldwide have purchased Magellan Jets’ Jet Cards and flown Charter with the company.
When will Harmon III teach in Chicago is anyone’s guess. Hopefully, he will make the Windy City rounds soon.
