Behind the Scenes at The Masters

LUKE_DONALD_MASTERSNo other sporting event in the world brings together the tradition and beauty of golf like the Masters. Here are four exclusive behind the scenes videos taken on Wednesday at the 2011 Masters tournament at Augusta National Golf Club.

The only place official Masters merchandise is available is at the merchandise stores near the entrances to Augusta National Golf Club. I would recommend getting to the stores early before your favorite hat or shirt is sold out. The Masters offers a free service that will allow you to check your bag of purchased merchandise so you don’t have to bring it with you on to the course. You can also ship your new Masters swag back home immediately after purchase.

Here’s a full view of Amen Corner during the Wednesday practice round at Augusta National Golf Club during the 2011 Masters. Although this is just a practice round, the course is full of photographers who are catching the players and the beauty of this amazing golf course.

The Par 3 tournament on Masters Wednesday is a fun tradition that brings out some of the greats of the game on the Augusta National Par 3 course. The event starts in the early afternoon and the players move through the short course quickly, so reserve your viewing spot early.

Here’s the tee shot of PGA Tour star Luke Donald during his Wednesday practice round the day before the 2011 Masters. Donald finished in a tie for fourth at the event, his best since he finished in third place in 2005.
