Klein Creek Golf Club

Designed by Dick Nugent, Klein Creek Golf Club in the western suburb of Winfield features an open design in which water is present on 15 holes. Navigate clear of the water and the omnipresent bunkers and you’re still faced with some challenging elevation changes. The course is played predominantly through housing developments, but is primarily open and unshielded, so wind also can be a rather large factor in a round.

Klein Creek features a couple of the more engaging, short par fours in Chicago golf with their 329-yard 5th hole and the 308-yard 10th hole. Both are excellent risk/reward holes that give a player options, especially if conditions are favorable.
