Local Junior Golfers From Schaumburg Headed to Twin Warriors GC in New Mexico

Countryside Golf Course in Mundelein, along with Cranberry Valley Golf Club (Harwich, Massachusetts) and Wailea Golf Club (Maui, Hawaii) was one of three sites for the PGA Jr. League Regionals held during Sept. 18-20, 2026.

At this regional competition, the Schaumburg 17u All-Stars of Schaumburg Golf Club went into Sunday’s semi-finals seeded No. 3, where they defeated the Northern Lights 17u All-Stars of Minnesota 7-5 and advanced to the final round against the Cog Hill Ravines 17u All-Stars. Schaumburg then won their final match, edging the defending 17u National Champions from Lemont’s Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, 6.5-5.5, to earn their first trip to the PGA Jr. League Championship.

The Schaumburg All-Stars, along with eleven other regional qualifiers, will fill the field of twelve teams of junior golfers, ages 14-17, at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico from Oct. 22-25 for the chance to be crowned PGA Jr. League National Champions.
