Grayslake Golf Practice Center

grayslake-golf-practiceThe Grayslake Golf Practice Center is a new enterprise of Dino Lucchesi, one of the top golf professionals in the Illinois Section PGA. Located on Route 45 in Grayslake, about 300 yards south of Route 120, the GGPC is a reincarnation of the former Master Golf driving range. But Dino’s GGPC is more than just a driving range; it is an institution with a belief that it has now become a location where guests can come to ‘learn…practice…and enjoy’ a golfing experience.

Over a 30 year career as a competitive golfer Dino complied an impressive record. In 1993 Lucchesi won the Illinois Open. Dino was named IPGA Assistant Player of the Year in 1997 and 1998; in both of those years he was also named IPGA Player of the Year. Lucchesi went on to become a fully exempt Nike (web.com) Tour player. He has competed in the PGA Tour’s Western Open and in the PGA Championship. Dino has over fifty professional event victories to his credit, including the Illinois PGA Championship, the Illinois PGA Assistant’s Championship, the Illinois PGA Match Play Championship, and the Dunes Invitational Championship.

Following his three decades of golf competition, Dino has now turned his expertise to golf education. At the GGPC, Lucchesi offers youth and adult lessons in private and group sessions. Designed to meet instructional needs at all levels, Dino has carefully developed instructional programs to suit the beginner golfer or the more advanced golfer, whose aspirations to be treated like a professional tour player will be met at the GGPC. Dino’s golf education merits include winning for four consecutive years the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game — a national award.

Club fitting and club repair are also available at the Grayslake Golf Practice Center.
