Northern Illinois Golf Expo 2018

Tenco Events, owners and operators of the Tinley Park Golf Expo, have announced the Northern Illinois Golf Expo (NIGE) will be held in the Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center in Grayslake, IL on the dates of February 16-18, 2018.

Less than five years old, the new location of the Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center features a modern 65,000 square foot exposition center in Grayslake, IL, 60030. Tenco’s experience with its successful Tinley Park Golf Expo draws upon two attributes that are important to public golf expo attendees: accessibility and affordability.

Tenco anticipates that three or four club manufacturers will have exhibitor booths at the 2018 NIGE; attendees can demo the newest equipment from these major manufacturers in the Demo Area.

Exhibitors from approximately 20 local and regional golf courses will hand out information and greens fee discounts. Terrific bargains are to be had at the wholesale equipment booths as well as the booth for the sale of cleaned reclaimed golf balls. Tenco also anticipates participation from the IPGA; in the dedicated Lessons Area, attendees can receive free one-on-one golf instruction from PGA professionals. A Closest to the Pin golf simulator contest, as well as Longest Drive and Long Putt contests, will offer attendees opportunities to win wonderful prizes. Parking is free in the Lake County Fairgrounds parking lot for the 2018 NIGE.

Brad Grey, sales relations manager of Tenco Events, points out that the NIGE will take place February 16-18, a week after their first show in Tinley Park (February 9-11), and a week ahead of the Chicago Golf Show (February 23-25) in Rosemont.
