Paige Spiranac and John Daly at Geneva National

Besieged by weeks of lingering chilly temperatures, Chicago area golfers are eager for anything ‘hot’ to warm up their enjoyment of the game.

In a few short weeks, if the month of June by itself doesn’t warm up golf conditions, then an event at Destination Geneva National should provide all the heat that is necessary to kick off the summer golf season in our area.

June 5 will mark the second coming of golf influencer Paige Spiranac to Geneva National when she battles John Daly in a match on the Gary Player course. Recall that last year on June 27 golf media sensation Paige Spiranac and her foursome-mates stroked the first putts during the unveiling media day at Geneva National Resort’s 27-hole putting course called The Dance Floor. Now, 12 months later, Paige returns to Destination Geneva National to test her putting skills and the rest of her golf game against two-time major champion, John Daly.

On Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:30am golf legends Paige Spiranac and John Daly will compete toe-to-toe on the Gary Player Course in Destination Geneva National’s Beauty vs. the Beast Celebrity Charity Match. 100% of ticket profits benefit veteran charities SOWF (Special Operations Warrior Foundation) and Heart of a Lion Foundation.

Two-time PGA Major Champion John Daly and combat wounded veteran Major Ed Pulido, U.S. Army (Ret.), have joined forces to make a major impact on the world of philanthropy. Both men know how important it is to have a great heart for our nation’s veterans, first responders, and America’s children, and thus have established the Heart of a Lion Foundation to aid these three groups with mental, physical, and wellness support through generous non-profit efforts.

Visit the website www.destinationgn.com/beauty-beast for various ticket option purchase information including general admission Day Grounds Pass, upgraded Inside The Ropes Day Pass, and the further upgraded VIP Reception Pass for admission to the reception with Paige and John following the match.
