The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont played host this past weekend to the 28th annual show, and provided a well-needed glimpse of hope to over 15,000 Chicago golfers during another long winter. Every attendee received a free 18-hole round courtesy of GolfVisions, Inc., which operates 12 area courses. Improving on a similar offer last year, attendees were allowed to choose a free round at their preferred GolfVisions course. This was a tremendous upgrade on the 2010 Chicago Golf Show blind draw free golf offer.
Over 300 exhibitors were in attendance, offering deals on equipment and apparel. Chicago Golf Show attendees also were able to meet representatives from golf destinations with exhibitors from 17 states, Puerto Rico, Italy and New Zealand.
